WHO WE ARE

Carl-Erich Kruse

Carl-Erich Kruse

Attorney

Carl-Erich Kruse joined CMG in January 2019. He became a partner in 2022. Carl-Erich limits his practice to representing plaintiffs in medical negligence cases. He gets great satisfaction in seeking justice for individuals and families who have been wronged through the actions of others, usually large and powerful entities.

Prior to joining CMG, Carl-Erich represented plaintiffs in medical malpractice, personal injury, and products liability cases. Throughout his practice, Carl-Erich has found it incredibly rewarding to build relationships with his clients and work closely with them to overcome the most difficult experiences in their lives.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Carl-Erich received his B.A. in American History from Boston College. He then earned a living in a variety of roles, including as a warehouser for a local dairy, a house framer, and a paralegal. As a paralegal he discovered that he was best suited to make significant impact on peoples’ lives by guiding them through the legal system. He pursued a law degree to achieve precisely this end. He received his J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law in 2012.

Carl-Erich is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) and American Association for Justice (AAJ). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the WSAJ Trial News and served as co-chair of the WSAJ Medical Negligence Section from 2020 to 2023. He has been selected by his peers as a “Rising Star” in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Carl-Erich is admitted to the bar in Washington State and the US District Court for Western Washington. When not in the office he can be found biking, cooking, reading, or trying hard (with the help of his wonderful wife) to keep up with his two active children.

Carl-Erich habla Español. Nació en España y vivó en Venezuela cuando era niño.
